Thomas has been involved in the game of rugby since 1994, originally as a player, before becoming an official in 2004. Since becoming an official he has officiated matches of all levels across Canada and USA, as well as in the UK and the Caribbean. Thomas has officiated, and helped organize countless tournaments since 2004.
Thomas has also been a wrestling pairing master since 1994, responsible for hundreds of tournaments of all levels, from high school level up to international competitions.
